Cotton is one of the oldest, most useful natural raw materials representing almost half of the fiber used for clothing and other textiles around the world. It is a soft and stable fiber that grows in a ball or protective capsules of the cotton plant. The fiber are spun into thread and used to make a soft, breathable textile.
